In the first event, a well-known poet and incumbent President of the Gujarati Sahitya Parishad (Ahmedabad), Sitanshubhai Yashachandra will present his discourse under the title: “નોળવેલની મહેક: પરિષદમાં તેમજ સાહિત્યમાં”.

The second event is a reflective event as a precursor to the centenary of the Gujarat Vidyapith.

ગૂજરાત વિદ્યાપીઠની સ્થાપના 18 ઑક્ટોબર 1920માં થઈ હતી. શતાબ્દીની પૂર્વસંધ્યાએ પ્રાણજીવન વિદ્યાર્થીભવનનાં પ્રાંગણના વડ નીચે બેસીને ગાંધીજીનું આત્મનિરીક્ષણઃ “એક વણિક પુત્ર જો કરી શકતો હોય તો મેં ઋષિનું કામ કર્યું છે?” વિષય પર ડો. નિમિષાબહેન શુક્લ અને ડો. દામિનીબહેન શાહ વક્તવ્ય આપશે.
